Special Types Insurance

One Sure Insurance has access to specialist schemes - meaning we can cover a wide variety of Special Type vehicles. Our special types insurance offerings give you complete peace of mind - protecting your most valuable assets from fire, theft or accidental damage. Whether you operate in the construction industry, haulage business or agricultural business, we can work directly with underwriters to keep your special type vehicles insured and protected.

Because of our relationships, we are often able to offer extremely competitive insurance quotations to our clients. We can add and remove clauses and optional extras where necessary, and even put together individually tailored insurance policies for policies such as fleets. Our clients range from small businesses, all the way through to global companies who need to insure fleets of special types vehicles. Our flexibility and expertise gives us access to special types insurance policies that other brokers may not have access to; positioning us as an industry leader.

We Protect All Of Your Special Types Assets - From Diggers to Snow Ploughs

We work tirelessly to ensure that all of your assets are protected. Through our schemes, we are able to insure almost all special type vehicles - including high-risk vehicles such as Forklifts, Snow Ploughs, Tar Sprayers and Bulldozers.

Depending on the type of cover you need, and others factors such as total vehicle value, we are often able to source three types of policies for special type vehicles. These typically include:

  • Third-Party Only: Cover against damage, injury or death to other people or other peoples property.
  • Third-Party, Fire & Theft: The same as above, including fire, theft and attempted theft.
  • Comprehensive: All of the above, including accidental damage.

With many of our clients operating in high-risk industries such as construction, we often find that Comprehensive policies are more often than not best suited - especially when a special types vehicle can cost in excess of £50,000 to replace new. Our comprehensive policies will pay out the full, current value of the vehicle, minus any relevant and applicable excesses, in the event of a claim where the vehicle is a write off or cannot be economically repaired.

As an insurance broker, we are able to provide advice and guidance to our clients - something which many other brokers cannot do. We offer a personalised service, and run you through the advantages and disadvantages of each type of policy. If we feel that a different policy better suits your business needs - then we can suggest this and let you decide which is the best. We also shop the market, comparing underwriters to source the best prices on special types insurance. Some of our underwriters have a thirst for different types of risks, markets and vehicles - so we can often reach out to insurers who specialise in your particular industry - giving you the most competitive quotation.

HGV's & Lorries: We have found that some of our clients are attempting to insure HGV's through our special types policy. We would like to remind all customers that we offer HGV Insurance seperately - and often find our HGV insurance policies to offer more bang for the buck - as we have more flexibility to include discounts where your circumstances may be advantageous. For more information on HGV insurance, simply ask one of our sales advisers.
